KMS J3 athletes race in VARA Mid-Vemont Council races, from which they can qualify to regional, national, and international competition. Many qualify for Vermont State Championships, from which some go on to race in J3 Eastern Finals and J3 Junior Olympics; elite-level athletes can also qualify for regional USSA-sponsored events such as ERS, national races, and even represent the U.S. at international events such as the Whistler Cup and Trofeo Topolino. KMS coaches design a schedule that targets the appropriate races for each racer, from the novice competitors to the elite athlete targeting international competition.
