KMS

Financial aid at KMS is awarded to students who demonstrate need and who qualify according
to Killington Mountain School guidelines. Applicants for financial aid must have already been accepted to KMS. Decisions are based on the following criteria:
>> Financial need
>> Demonstrated excellence in academic, athletic or extracurricular performance
>> Grade level
>> Personal conduct

All decisions are made on an individual basis by the Tuition Assistance Committee, using
recommendations from the School and Student Service (SSS) for Financial Aid.

To apply for financial aid you will need to:
>> Complete and submit the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) to the School and Student Service
for Financial Aid by April 1. This form is available online at www.nais.org.
>> Submit a copy of your 2010 tax return (Form 1040, all attachments and W-2s) to KMS by April 30.

Financial aid at Killington Mountain School is offered on an annual basis. A decision to re-award a grant is made each spring, taking into consideration the criteria listed above, as well as the student's overall contribution to the program. Parents must reapply through the School and Student Service (SSS) and submit a copy of their tax return to KMS each year.

We encourage early applications for financial aid. Applications received after April 1 will be considered for as long as funds remain available.
