KMS students are competitive in their sports and have internal motivation to achieve their academic and athletic best. Killington Mountain School's staff works closely with each student-athlete's sending school to establish clear expectations and coordinate academic requirements.

There are three enrollment options for either day or boarding students:

• Nine-month academic term, September to June for grades 9-12
• Five-month academic term, November to April for grades 7-12
• An introduction to the KMS experience - the BOOST Program
