Serving grades 7-12, Killington Mountain School is a fully approved state of Vermont independent school. Our o­ne-to-one classroom ratio provides students with the ability to excel academically while pursuing their athletic passions. The longest-running winter academy program in the United States, Killington Mountain School has been teaching young adults the values of hard work and commitment, both in the classroom and o­n the slopes, for over thirty years. Offering our students "the best of both worlds" - a quality education and world-class training and coaching - KMS specializes in alpine racing, freestyle skiing and snowboard competition. Our focused five-month program provides students with the academic instruction and support needed to thrive in pursuit of high-level, athletic achievement. A unique classroom experience provides students with the support required to excel at their studies at any level; with remarkably few exceptions, KMS is able to teach any course offered by the sending school.
