Despite the rigorous training and competition schedule at KMS, all dorm students are offered supervised off-campus activities - such as trips to the movies, the mall, or out to dinner - on a regular basis.
Group living provides an invaluable experience for young adults, who learn to live more independently at boarding school. With the guidance of our dedicated staff, our students learn to respect individual differences, resolve conflict and take responsibility for the care and upkeep of the facility in which they reside. Students have a voice in establishing the rules by which they must live through student representation. Commitment to the RILER ideal remains paramount to community life at KMS.

Supervised study hall is held each school night. We provide all necessary transportation to and from training, racing and academic sessions.
Killington Resort
Killington Resort, known as the Beast of the East, provides KMS student-athletes with the ultimate training ground in Eastern North America. Its commitment to skiing and riding means that student-athletes typically are on snow from early November through late April. Challenging terrain such as Outer Limits, the steepest, longest mogul slope in Eastern North America, and the world's largest snowmaking system are just a few of the features from which our athletes benefit.
