The Killington Mountain School’s financial aid policy is to offer financial assistance to those families with a demonstrated need who qualify according to KMS and NEASA guidelines.  Award decisions are based on the following criteria: a) need; b) demonstrated excellence in academic, athletic, or extra curricular performance; c) grade level; d) personal conduct; and e) financial restraint.  All decisions are made on an individual basis by our Tuition Assistance Committee, using the School and Student Service for Financial Aid information, in Princeton, New Jersey; forms are available through the business office.

The deadline for financial aid applications is April 30.  Parents must submit a letter of request to Killington Mountain School by that date.

Financial aid at the Killington Mountain School is offered on a yearly basis.  A decision to re-award a grant is made each spring, taking into consideration the criteria listed above, as well as the student’s overall contribution to the program.  Parents must submit applications annually to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid, in Princeton, New Jersey.

Parents may also be required to provide Killington Mountain School with copies of the most recent federal 1040’s and supporting schedules as soon as they become available.

Parents must report in writing any, or any anticipated, other financial aid or assistance from Federal, State, Institutional, or private sources.

* Returning students will be notified of financial aid status by May 15.  New students will be notified by June 15.
