Registration Process Check List:

  1. Register for programs via our secure site and follow instructions.
  2. Fill out and return the required program forms from the KSC/KMS Competition Programs Registration packet and your check made out to KSC/KMS Programs for the Work Obligation Program prior to the start of the program either directly to the program office at the Killington Ski Club or via the mail to KSC/KMS Competition Programs, 2708 Killington Rd., Killington, VT 05751. These forms include: The Killington Release, The KSC/KMS Athlete Medical Release (one for each athlete) and The KSC/KMS Work Obligation Program (check must be included).
  3. Receive a confirmation email once your registration process is complete from the KSC/KMS Program Coordinator.
  4. Review the Program Requirements, Program Information and Registration Information below.
  5. Register for membership in the relevant competition organization for your child’s program. (See Program Requirements specific to your child’s program on the website to determine which organizations to join. Early registration is recommended to avoid late fees.) This is a good guide to start from:
    • USSA (All competing alpine, freestyle, and freeskiing athletes): The United States Ski and Snowboard Association is the national governing body for alpine, freestyle and snowboarding in the United States. Application can be found online at www.ussa.org.
    • USASA (All competing snowboard and freeskiing athletes): USASA is the national governing body for snowboarding and grassroots freeskiing in the United States. All athletes competing in snowboarding and freeskiing must be members of USASA. Applications can be found online at www.usasa.org.
    • VARA (all competing alpine athletes) Vermont Alpine Racing Association is the governing body for alpine ski racing in Vermont. All alpine athletes (Stars and up) who plan to race must join. Applications for competitor memberships can be found online at www.vara.org.

Registration Information:

  1. All registrations must be processed online.
  2. Program prices will increase $100 on Monday, October 31th and will increase another $100 on Monday, November 21st—register today for the best value!
  3. KSC/KMS Competition Programs does not offer refunds. Please purchase our Program Insurance Policy (PIP) to protect yourself in the event your child cannot complete the program.
  4. Please be sure to provide all of the information requested during the registration process. When asked for a phone number, please provide the best number to reach a parent at during training and competition on weekends. Being able to look up all of the parents correct cell phone numbers at a moment’s notice during the program is critical.
  5. The KSC/KMS Competition Programs is able to offer financial assistance to a limited number of athletes. The KSC/KMS Competition Programs is able to offer financial assistance to a limited number of athletes. Applications are processed on October 15th and November 1st in order for recipients to register prior to the program price increases. Recipients must sign up by the relevant deadline to receive the early-payment discount; aid will not be adjusted if recipients fail to register by the deadline. To apply, fill out the application and mail to: KSC/KMS Competition Programs, 2708 Killington Road, Killington, VT 05751.

Program Requirements:

  1. All programs must be paid in full by the first day of the program. No exceptions will be made without prior arrangements. Please contact the Program Coordinator with questions.
  2. A helmet is mandatory.
  3. Membership in the Killington Ski Club, sign up at www.killingtonwintersportsclub.org. This membership entitles you to full use of the club building, including tuning facilities, as well as participation in KSC-sponsored social activities and other offerings.
  4. Participation in the KSC/KMS Work Obligation Program
  5. Killington unlimited season pass, Killington Resort website
