April graduated from Bates College with a BA in English and German and received her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from Castleton. She has held positions in higher education for many years - including Admissions Counselor at The School for International Training, seven years as a Financial Aid Counselor and Instructor at CCV and, most recently, as Circulation and Reserve Supervisor at the Baker-Berry Library at Dartmouth College.

April enjoys mountain biking, trail running, snowshoeing, skiing... She lives in North Clarendon with her husband and two children. Both children attended KMS full-time as ski cross, rock climbing, and downhill mountain biking athletes.
