Black Bear Award - February 14, 2017

Congratulations to Sabrina Cass, Matt Fryer, Honor Brogden and Ben Vergara, who were given the Black Bear Award at this week's all-school meeting. They were nominated for this award by Student Life Coordinator Meghan Girardi for their help around the dorm over the past week. Meghan shared, "When so many members of the dorm were sick, this group of students spent hours working with Peter and other dorm staff, wiping down door knobs, the dinning room tables and chairs, railings, the pantry, bathrooms, the conference room, student lounge, the gym and many more places with bleach to help clean the school. Honor, in particular, did this multiple times throughout last week." Head of School Tao Smith often reminds the KMS community to "Take care of yourself, take care of each other, and take care of your place in the world." These students certainly reflected that ethos in the way that they stepped up to help the school in a time when it was much needed and also appreciated! Way to go!
