Update on KMS Summer Camps

Update: June 17th, 2020

Hi All,

The KMS COVID-19 Task Force has been working hard to finalize protocols and procedures in order to offer safe summer training options. The KMS board has approved a modified version of our current camp offerings. Details below:

Modified Camps

At this time boarding, food, transportation and access to the KMS Campus will not be provided. As the COVID situation continues to develop, these restrictions may be amended.

Trampoline Camp is Cancelled

The close proximity of the trampolines within an enclosed space presents difficulties at our current camp capacity.

Modified Bag Jump Camps

All June Camps have been cancelled. The dates of the modified camps will remain consistent with current five day offerings starting on July 13th. These will be single session training blocks from 8:30am-12:30pm for day campers only. The cost is $450 per week. Campers will be dropped off and picked up at the KMS Bag Jump Facility. Please note:

  • All athlete will be required to abide by Vermont State Guidelines including a mandatory quarantine for athletes traveling from certain areas https://accd.vermont.gov/covid-19

  • All athletes must undergo daily KMS Screening Process and abide by outlined KMS Safety Procedures

  • Trampoline training will not available at during these blocks

  • Camp capacity is 15 athletes. Registration is first come first serve. Camp registration can be found here: https://www.killingtonmountainschool.org/fourseasonbagjump

Credits or Refunds

If you have already paid for boarding, trampoline or full day camps, payments can be used as credits towards KMS camps and program fees or be refunded upon request. Please request credit transfers or refunds by emailing npepe@killingtonmountainschool.org

Our top priority continues to be the safety and well being of our athletes, coaches, and staff. We are excited to be able to offer our modified camp schedule while complying with KMS and State regulations.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Update: May 15th, 2020

Dear KMS Community,

Hi All,

I hope this email finds you and families doing well. We wanted to give an update on Killington Mountain School Summer Camps. As of now, we plan to hold all on-campus KMS camps including the Four Season Bag Jump Camps, Trampoline Camp, and Athletic Development Camps. At this time we still intend to offer boarding options for these camps. Please note that camp dates and boarding options are subject to change as we assess safety and health guidelines moving forward.

Our top priority is the safety and well being of our athletes, coaches, and staff. We will continue to assess the situation due to COVID -19 and update with our decisions in these coming months. Additionally, we will adhere to national, state and sport federation recommendations and guidelines.

Communication, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Three weeks prior to the camp start date we will confirm that the camp is happening and send paperwork, the camp program guide, and request payment. In the event that the camp is canceled, we will issue credits to campers who have paid or refunds upon request.

We will continue to communicate as we get closer to the camp dates. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
