Student of the Week – October 12, 2016

Congratulations to Liam Scott who was named Student of the Week at Wednesday’s all-school community lunch. Liam is an 8th grade Snowboard athlete who comes to KMS from Dorchester, MA. Liam was nominated for this award by several of his teachers, with his English/History teacher Ian Groezinger sharing the following: “Liam has done well on all vocabulary quizzes (so much so that we are going to up the number of words) as well as with his essay comparing Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. He has also been reading ahead in our novel, Maniac Magee.” Art teacher Eric Kuntz seconded the nomination stating, “Liam is doing very well in Photography Class. He has shown great compassion in helping others and in teaching his peers how to do different things with their digital cameras. He has great eye for photography. Liam’s abilities, have shown improvement each week and in addition, he has shown great improvement in both his work ethic and final product.” Nice work, Liam! Keep it up!
