The first of the alpine results for the season reflect solid training and prep

The alpine competition season is now underway, with the results beginning to roll in from various season-opening competitions.

In Sunday River, Graeme Price had a good race, moving from bib 41 to 15 in the SL. Paul Ferri had an awesome first run, going from 88 to 19, with many of the other boys having strong single runs as well. Cassidy Bebo had a good race at Sunday River, starting from bib 53 to just miss the flip-30 start order for second run SL, and ultimately finishing 31st in run one. She had a strong second run too, to move up to 27th overall.

In the Vermont Cup GS at Stratton on 12/11 KMS athletes had some nice results, with Crawford Jones in eighth, Paul Ferri in ninth, Brad Underhill 11th, Bo Underhill in 13th, Tommy Shantler in 17th, Quin Taylor in 19th and John Bianchi rounding out the top 20. Wyatt Hoffman had a great race, finishing 11th for the U16's and Matt Fryer as well, finishing 13th for U16's.

Bobby Ryan traveled to Lake Louise for three days. The first two days were NorAm downhills, where he went from 62 to 30 and then 62 into 29, scoring NorAm points. The third day was the Canadian National Championships where he went from 60 to 33.
