Bringing home the boot, the beanpot, the golden helmet, an otter pelt, and an invitation to the 7 Na

With the multitude of successes over the weekend, it's impossible to know just where to start in recounting all the greatness that unfolded for Killington Mountain School athletes all over the northeast.

Let's kick it off with Izzy Jenne who was at Burke, where she finished ninth overall in the first SL race, and Tanner Graves was fifth after the first run but had a tough second run. In the GS, Izzy won by .80 (a huge margin against the top U16's in the country) and secured a spot in the 7 Nations Cup, which is taking place in Austria in mid-February!

At Gore, KMS PG Ava Mattsson picked up first career FIS Eastern Cup Victory in Friday's SG, taking the top spot on the podium, a shiny new belt buckle, and her very own otter pelt! If that's not a first, we don't know what is! Cassidy Bebo won the attack from the back award, breaking the top ten with a ninth place finish from bib 63! Becca Clark earned first page honors finishing in 15th, and Isabella De Buy Wenniger, getting a late start to her season, had a solid result, finishing 31st.

The U19 men were also at Gore for a Super G on 1/20 where Paul Ferri finished sixth, Brad Underhill moved from 55 to 19, and Tommy Shantler finished in 21st. Bo Underhill moved from bib 68 to 25, Crawford Jones was 27th, and PJ Bovaconti moved from 59 to 30.

1/21 Gore Day 2

Three KMS boys finished in the top 20; softer snow played a role in the earlier bibs but KMS still represented! Paul Ferri was sixth, Bobby Ryan was 13th, and Brad Underhill was 19th.

Crawford Jones took his career win #1! Bobby Ryan was second and Brad Underhill third. Podium sweep! Quin Taylor and Bo Underhill were fourth and fifth, respectively, and PJ Bovaconti was seventh with John Bianchi in eighth.

Over the weekend at the U12 GS at Killington, KMS athletes took 1, 2, 3, 5 and 8th in the boys, and the boys went 1,2,3 with Shelby Graves in third and Megan Bianchi in sixth.

At Suicide Six, the U14's took the Beanpot!
