Strong Slopestyle finishes and some sweet product testing

Slopestyle Coach Devon Gulick checked in with an update about a recent competition as well as a sponsor event. Over the weekend, Devon took athletes Kian Hauschildt, Jamie Hamlin and weekend athlete Lucas Merrill to Stowe for a comp. Kian placed first in his age group, while Jamie placed fourth in what was his second event ever! Lucas placed eighth in his age group and this was his first-ever competition! In addition to awesome results, Devon reported that everyone had a lot of fun.

On Tuesday Devon brought Kian and Jamie to Stratton to the On-Snow Demo.

On-Snow is a three day ski and snowboard demo event where all the reps, local shop employees, and sponsored riders get to test ride next year's skis, boards, and bindings, so they know what each product has to offer.

Kian, being newly sponsored by Whiteflag Sales (aka Burton Snowboards), got to help out in the Burton tent turning screws in addition to test riding next year's boards. He even got to take a several runs with a few professional snowboarders.

Jamie and Devon helped out at the DWD tent and got to demo some gear along with meeting some important people in the industry. Coach Devon shared that the entire day was a very cool experience for the boys from start to finish.
