Mood and Tone - Sarah Gilbertoni investigates "Landslide" from Fleetwood Mac

In the pursuit of investigating the difference between Mood and Tone, students of the KMS junior ELA class presented an analysis of some of their favorite songs.

Students were careful to provide clear evidence from the lyrics of the songs to match the tone of the piece while connecting personally with how this affected their own moods and interpretations of the song.

Having discussed the value of conflict and how trauma from the past can affect the future, Sarah Gibertoni presented this incredible work on "Landslide" from Fleetwood Mac, giving us a new perspective on how to move forward through our own regrets. A fresh take on some widely celebrated lyrics.
