BOOST at Killington Mountain School

BOOST PROGRAM

Come BOOST your skills at the Killington Mountain School!

The BOOST program is an introduction to the academy lifestyle for alpine, freestyle, freeskiing, and snowboard student-athletes.

The BOOST Camp program offers multiple options for athletes aged 11-14, including three-day to one-week camps during the fall, winter and summer seasons.

The BOOST Elite Academy program allows accepted student-athletes in grades 6-8 to train with our coaches and work with our teachers, alongside student-athletes in our winter-term programs.

Training, coaching, lunch and lift tickets provided. If boarding, lodging and three meals a day are also included.

Academics

Setting
Academics take place in the Killington Mountain School library, as well as KMS classrooms. Both settings provide a comfortable, academic setting for the Elite Academy  student-athletes.

Schedule

The academic coordinator designs individualized schedules to facilitate learning and completion of assignments.

Curriculum

Our academic coordinator will contact your child’s guidance counselor and teachers to request assignments. Establishing this connection with the home school early will help us collect the curriculum of the sending school so that when the student returns home at the end of their academic session, the student has learned the required material and is up-to-date.

Communication

Every Friday, teachers will email you, the sending school teacher and guidance counselor a weekly progress report which includes a summary of what your student has done that week in each course.

Daily Schedule

The Elite Academy student-athletes will eat, sleep, train and study while they are here. Below is a sample schedule of a typical day.
