BAG JUMP at Killington Mountain School

Freestyle / Freeskiing / Snowboarding

Our camps provide athletes a safe and effective way to develop jumps before attempting them on-snow. Athletes will first work to master tricks in the school's trampoline facility and then continue their progression toward mastery as they head to the bag to practice those maneuvers.

The KMS Bag Jump Camps will utilize the school's new world-class four-season airbag facility, located just over a mile up the road at the base of Killington Resort's Superstar trail.  Coaches will safely transition athletes through acrobatic progressions that will target their short and long term jumping goals. Our camps provide athletes with a safe and effective way to develop jumps before attempting them on-snow. Athletes will first work to master tricks in the school's trampoline facility and then continue their progression toward mastery as they head to the bag to practice those maneuvers.

Elite Bag Jump Camps (Freestyle, Freeski and Snowboard)

These camps will be highly focused with a heavy load of jumping and acrobatic training.  Each day will include two sessions of both trampoline and airbag training with additional dynamic warm-up, core strength, spinning and recovery stretch.

Youth Bag Jump Camp

This camp will split the focus between bag jump and acrobatic training, balanced with afternoon activities for athletes ages 10 and up.  This allows young athletes to participate in focused sessions of training while managing fatigue levels.

Trampoline Camp

The Killington Mountain School Trampoline Camp sessions are open to athletes ages 8 to 16.  Our KMS coaches and athletes offer expert instruction on Olympic Trampolines at our Action Sports Center. Participants will be coached through the same trampoline progressions we use to train our athletes at KMS.  Our approach focuses on developing air awareness and acrobatic skills while minimizing risk. We invite you to come to have fun and build your aerial skills!

Introductory to Acrobatic & Athletic Movement

This fun and instructive camp will introduce athletes ages 8 to 12 to a range of activities that encourage athletes to develop body awareness and promote a healthy and active lifestyle.  Athletes will develop a base of movement to help increase balance, footwork, and coordination. They will spend time learning proper stretching, dynamic warm up and a variety of gym activities.  In the trampoline room, we will work on building a base of tumbling and acrobatic movements. During afternoon activity, we will take advantage of the spectacular natural surroundings in the Killington area with activities such as hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, climbing, and the Killington Adventure Park.
