Adrienne is thrilled to join the KMS team this year. With years of experience in public and private education as well as outdoor education and community college, she has approached teaching from a wide variety of angles. Adrienne also writes unique, original STEM test questions for middle school and high school state standardized assessments. Adrienne got her BS from UC Santa Cruz with a focus on Field Geology. She then went on to get her MS in Igneous Petrology from Cornell University where she proposed a bottom-down kimberlite eruption mechanism and studied how xenoliths can be used to determine the water content of the mantle. In her spare time, Adrienne enjoys long hikes with her border collie, Ryley, paddling, and creating beaded artwork.
