Gravity Mountain Bike Program Director & Head Coach

802.422.5671

Spending his formative years in Stowe, Vermont, Conte was engrossed in the Vermont cycling community at a young age and was very quickly deemed a "local fast boy" by popular cycling media. In his fourteenth season as a professional athlete, Conte is still driven by the pure joy of riding and knows exactly when to flip the switch, having competed in both the UCI Downhill World Cup and Enduro World Series. He also brings a deep familiarity with the Eastern States Cup Series having clinched three consecutive Pro Division series overalls and two second place overall results over the past 5 years. Dylan continues to race at the top of his game and remains a competitive American downhill racer.

Conte developed a passion for coaching and teaching after being asked to be a guest pro coach at Highland Mountain Bike Park's Ayr Academy in 2015. During that first year he realized that he had a natural ability to teach and has since honed and developed his craft teaching mountain biking and racing skills. Most recently, Conte was the Head Coach and Program Director for the Stowe Mountain Bike Academy Race Team where he led athletes competing in both enduro and downhill racing.

Conte has earned certification from the Bike Instructor Certification Program (BICP). In his free time, he enjoys searching for the elusive Vermont powder on his split board, dirt jumping, working on improving his dirt biking, and most importantly spending time with his son as he grows up.

His favorite part of being part of KMS he loves being able to share his life's passion with the next generation of youth athletes. Watching them enjoy the sport and grow within the sport is such a rewarding and enjoyable process!
