Earnhardt comes to us most recently from Champlain Valley Union High School, and prior to that, he taught Social Studies at Pembroke Academy in New Hampshire. A lifelong New Englander, Earnhardt holds dual degrees in Political Science and Secondary Education from Lesley University. Over his years in the classroom, he has built a wonderful reputation for designing engaging curricula, navigating complex historical subjects with care and forming meaningful connections with his students. He brings strong communication and creative problem-solving skills to KMS, tools he considers essential for reaching every learner. Next year, Earnhardt will be working with both our middle and high school students, which includes offering an exciting new Government and Civics elective, as well as advising our Student Council! When he isn’t in the classroom, Earnhardt loves further exploring his passion for politics and history, checking out everything Vermont has to offer, working on his vehicles or chilling out with a good book or video games. He is also a proud pet parent to two cats, Tonka and Walter, and is incredibly excited to be joining the KMS team.
