MA Mississippi State University
Heather brings a world of experience to KMS, both inside and outside the classroom. With an M.A. in French and Education from Mississippi State University, she has taught French at multiple levels, revitalized language programs and developing engaging, cross-disciplinary curriculum that connects students to the wider world. Her career has taken her across the globe, including time living and working in Kazakhstan and Ivory Coast, where she immersed herself in language, culture, and adventure. An active member of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) and the Alliance Française of the Champlain Valley, Heather loves finding creative ways to bring French to life, often through cooking with her students! This year, Heather will also serve as a dorm supervisor, bringing her warmth, energy, and global perspective to our residential community. When she’s not inspiring students, you’ll likely find her traveling to new destinations or camping.
