Jesper is from Portland, Oregon. He found his love for freestyle snowboarding through summer laps on the Palmer Glacier on Mt Hood. Jesper started instructing at Timberline at the age of 16. It then led him to move to Banff, Canada where he started freestyle coaching at Lake Louise Ski Resort. He also coaches for High Cascade Snowboard Camp in the summers. When not on hill he loves to play music, sew, crochet, and work on his motorcycle.

Jesper Holds a Level 2 and Park 2 Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors certification.
