Black Bear Award - December 21, 2016

Congratulations to Ryan Bianchi who was given the Black Bear Award at Wednesday's all-school meeting. Ryan is a ninth grade Alpine athlete who comes to KMS from Hingham, MA. He was nominated for this award by PG athlete, dorm parent, and coach Ryan Znamierowski for going above and beyond to help on the hill. Ryan shared, "Jack Bailey needed a few more people to go up and help with some fence. All the of the younger kids were strapping up their skis, but Ryan unstrapped his and came back up on the hill to help. He was the last young gun on the hill, even when almost everyone else had left! This extra effort is awesome and should not be overlooked. It's a great example even for our older athletes who sometimes feel that they have out grown the need to help after the training is done." Amazing job, Ryan!
