KMS Cyclist Josh Chu attends cycling camp at Olympic Training Center

Killington Mountain School Cyclist Josh Chu recently had the opportunity to attend a USA Cycling camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. Josh is an 11th grade student-athlete from Norwich, VT. He checked in with a recap of his experience, "I had a great trip to Colorado Springs. The scenery was incredible and so was the Center itself. Being surrounded by such a great group of guys and having guidance from some of the best in the sport was such a great learning experience. Having the opportunity to talk to one of the physiologists who had worked with some of the Rio Olympians was a real eye-opener as to what it takes to get to the top of your sport."

Josh continued, "The presentations that the camp directors had prepared were also well thought out and gave me an idea of what I need to do in order to get to Europe and the races and camps there. In addition to the great presentations and learning a lot, the riding was some of the best I have ever experienced. From riding track bikes in the indoor velodrome to riding up a mountain that looked down on the town, there was so much that Colorado Springs had to offer. I am so grateful for the support that KMS has given to me in order for me to get the chance to go to camps such as the one at the Olympic Training Center. I can't thank you guys enough and I'm excited to be back in a few short months!"
