The KMS Gravity Team just wrapped up the training trip of a lifetime, spending three weeks riding some of the best downhill terrain in the world. Traveling to New Zealand for a month of intense on-bike training and competition, the team took full advantage of the Southern Hemisphere’s summer riding conditions, finishing off their trip at the Crankworx NZ Summer Series in Christchurch.
Exploring New Zealand’s Top Bike Parks

The adventure began in Queenstown, a world-renowned mountain biking destination. The team spent the first half of their trip riding at Skyline, Coronet, and Cardrona Bike Parks, dialing in their skills on everything from technical rock gardens to massive jumps. The variety of terrain provided the perfect opportunity for the riders to push their limits and refine their race strategies.
After a productive training block in Queenstown, the team packed up and headed to Christchurch, where they prepared for the Crankworx Summer Series event at Christchurch Adventure Park.
Making Their Mark at Crankworx

Crankworx is one of the biggest names in the mountain biking world, and competing in the Summer Series was a huge opportunity for the team to test their progress against top-tier competition. The KMS Gravity Team ladies delivered standout performances, with Sitota Laroque and Sarah Hamlin both earning 5th place finishes in their respective age groups!
This was a fantastic way to close out the trip, proving that the hard work put in over the past few weeks was paying off.
Beyond the Bike: Learning and Exploring

While the primary focus of the trip was training and racing, the team also took time to explore and immerse themselves in New Zealand’s unique culture and environment. One of the highlights was a visit to the International Antarctic Centre, where they learned about Antarctica’s role in global science and even got to hang out with some penguins!
Looking Ahead
Trips like this are what make the KMS Gravity Team so special—having the chance to train at world-class venues, compete on a big stage, and experience new places is a privilege that fuels their passion for the sport. With the momentum from this incredible trip, the team is excited to keep pushing their limits and aiming for new heights in the upcoming season.

From epic journeys to adrenaline-fueled competitions, the KMS Gravity Team’s experience in New Zealand sounds like a biker’s dream come true. I remember a time when I trained intensely for a school sports tournament; just like Slice Master, pushing my limits in new environments made every victory feel twice as sweet, even if I didn’t always win. Such powerful growth only comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.
Wow, what an amazing experience for the KMS Gravity Team! New Zealand looks incredible. It’s great to see the team not only improving their skills and competing at Crankworx, but also taking time to experience the local culture and environment. Adventures like this definitely build camaraderie and a shared passion. This reminds me of how even something simple, like unwinding after a ride with Slope Game online, can be a fun way to relax and clear your head before tackling the next challenge. Congrats on all the success!
It’s amazing to see how they’ve embraced the thrilling terrains of New Zealand, especially in Queenstown. Training on such diverse trails must really enhance their skills and team dynamics. It’s a bit like playing Cookie Clicker , where each click builds your strategy and progress over time
