2021 Summer Reading Picks
Summer reading is a long standing tradition at KMS. Every summer, KMS English teachers assign students a book (or books) to read throughout the summer and provide a few assignments for the students to complete prior to the start of school. Not only does the summer reading allow the students to remain academically engaged throughout the summer months, but the summer reading also allows for students to enter the class with a shared understanding and allows them to dive deep into discussion and analysis within the first few class meetings.
