Black Bear Award - March 1, 2017

Congratulations to Mazie Hayden who was given the Black Bear Award at Wednesday's all-school meeting. Mazie is an 11th grade SkiCross athlete who comes to KMS from Pittsfield, VT. She was nominated for this award by Snowboard Program Director Jeff Juneau. Jeff explained, "Mazie was great on our recent competition trip to Colorado. She was helpful throughout the trip in a variety of ways. Along with kicking butt in the course, she was super helpful with cleaning where we stayed, along with taking care of teammate McKenna after her crash until Coach Alena could get to patrol. She was a valuable asset to have along with us on the trip." Congratulations, Mazie!
