KMS Freestyle takes top ten finishes at multiple events in US and Canada

The Killington Mountain School Freestyle team continued its trend of success last weekend with outstanding performances by a multiple team members. Program Director Kris Pepe checked in with recap:

"What an amazing weekend for Killington Freestyle with career best results all over! Where should I start?

On Saturday at Waterville Ian Beauregard took his third victory of the year. Ian was followed closely by teammates Collin Campbell in third and Adam Stiefel in fourth. In addition, Blake Levitts finally got his first-ever top ten finish after hunting all season, with an eighth place result. Nice one, Blake!

North of the border, Hannah Soar had a career-best finish of her own, with a second place in the Nor Am Cup at Val St. Come, Quebec.

On Sunday the Killington girls (with help of Sabrina Cass - Sugarbush/KMS Boost) swept the podium! Sofia Robinson took her first win of the season with Sabrina and Taylor Getz close behind. On the men's side, Adam Stiefel took his first-ever victory. Not far off were Ian and Spencer Belsky in third and fourth respectively. On Sunday Sid Simon also had his first-ever top ten finish with an impressive sixth place in the duals!

In Canada, big Al Lewis led the KMS crew with a career-best 16th place finish. Alex won two exciting duals but eventually met his match with tour leader Troy Tully.

I am currently on a brief stop in Killington between Nor Am competitions. The Nor Am group and I are off to Lake Tahoe tomorrow. Every weekend's results seem to be better than the one before. Keep up the good work! Hope everyone has a fun slush bump filled weekend at home next week!
