Student of the Week – September 28, 2016
Congratulations to Joanna Robinson-Leith who was named Student of the Week at Wednesday’s all-school meeting. Joanna is a 7th grade Alpine athlete who comes to KMS from Killington, VT. She was nominated for this award by middle school faculty members Richard Morse and Ian Groezinger. Richard shared, “This August I posted ten field observations, which can be hard when you are learning from a two dimensional surface, and Joanna did all ten assignments on time and used all the information I provided to make great observations. In math she asks for more homework in each class, reflective of her desire to go above and beyond. In science her work is detailed, organized, and punctual. In general, Joanna is very enthusiastic and 100% invested in learning.” Ian Groezinger continued with the accolades, “Since day one Joanna has come to class enthused and ready to learn. She has constantly turned in high-quality work and is always ready to contribute to our class discussion. After the first vocabulary test she seemed to looking for more of challenge, and I have since doubled the amount of vocabulary words per week, and she has not missed a beat.” Nice work Joanna!
