What’s New at KMS?
We have a great deal of exciting news to share with you including updates on new projects, exciting upcoming events, as well as new KMS designations and accolades.
New England Association of Schools and Colleges Accreditation: KMS received accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and recently completed its two year self study report. The school was commended for seriousness of purpose and clear interest in self-improvement. The NEASC commission cited several highlights at KMS including increased enrollment, enhancement of summer programs and professional development for faculty and staff.
High Performance Center: KMS was recently designated an official US Ski and Snowboard Training Site and High Performance Center, one of only eight in the country. This collaboration will greatly benefit athletes, coaches and faculty by helping raise knowledge and skill level.
4 Season Air Bag Jump: The construction is complete for the most modern, freestyle and action sports training venue in the U.S. Be sure to check out the KMS Facebook and Instagram pages for footage of our athletes landing impressive tricks and getting serious big air! Stay tuned for details about an official ribbon cutting ceremony at the site.
Campus Expansion Project: KMS is in the process of planning for a future expansion to the current KMS campus. While still in the early stages, we have started drawing up plans to present to contractors, engineers and potential donors. We’ve taken initial soil sampling and addressed environmental and civil engineering studies. We would love to have your involvement in and input about these exciting enhancements to the school.
As ever, we appreciate your support and participation in our community. We look forward to seeing you soon! Click here to register for Friday's event!
