EK Robinson-Leith takes sixth position at Junior Worlds

Killington Mountain School Snowboard athlete EK Robinson-Leith advanced from the number 18 position in time trials into the number six position in the Women's Junior Worlds SBX Finals! This result is particularly noteworthy for a first year eligible FIS athlete. Snowboard Program Director Jeff Juneau commented, "It was a huge accomplishment for Emilie-Kate to be selected for the Canadian Junior Worlds SnowboardCross team in her first year of eligibility. Her ability to turn an impressive time trial (18 out of 44) into a spot in the small final was incredible. Placing second in the small final and earning sixth overall in her first Junior Worlds is almost beyond belief! We couldn't be more proud of her hard work and attitude. She has earned her position as one of the top eight Junior SBX women in the world. It is amazing to work with this amazing young women who is such a fierce competitor!"

Congratulations to EK for this awesome accomplishment!
