Snowboard athletes display their talent in Minnesota
Killington Mountain School Snowboard athletes Matt Miller and Liam Scott headed to Buck Hill, Minnesota last weekend with Snowboard Program Director Jeff Juneau, where they competed in several NorAm and FIS events. On day one of competition, Matt raced in the first parallel slalom of the season. Coach Jeff reported that Matt was "a little too aggressive with his line at the top of his first run, and forced himself into a bobble that landed him in 35th spot," but that "in his second run Matt changed tactics and corrected his line to earn 28th for the second run and 30th for the day." On day two, Matt raced in the NorAm and earned 27th, and Liam raced in the Youth RTTC event, and landing in second place! Finally, on day three of competition, Matt had another successful day and earned 29th position. Nice work out there guys! Way to represent!
