Ryan Znamierowski takes the win in FIS Super Series SL at Val Saint-Côme

Killington Mountain School PG athletes Ryan Znamierowski and Graeme Price competed in several FIS races at Val Saint-Côme, where Ryan took the win in the SL, and Graeme was close behind in fifth. The two then traveled to Saint Sauver where both skied very well, and Graeme finished just outside the top ten in 11th.
The U19/21 alpine group competed in several races at Stratton, with the KMS athletes making an impressive showing, nearly taking all the top ten spots. In the first SL, Brad Underhill was third Paul Ferri fourth, and Bobby Ryan fifth. In the second SL, Paul was third, with Tommy Shantler in ninth, Marc Hartnett in 11th, and Brad and Bo Underhill rounding out the top 20. Jake Jenkins and John Bianchi were close behind, in 22nd and 25th respectively, with John having moved up from bib 91. Crawford Jones also finished in 32nd and Quin Taylor in 34th after moving from 93. Coach Jack Bailey commented that it was a "really good series overall for all the guys." He continued, "After tough weather on Sunday, the hill became "naturally" injected and the result was an awesome race surface. We had six guys in the top 15 for the second GS race on Monday, and someone on the podium in three out of the four races. A really good fall and December preparation definitely played into the success of the team. Now let's go top that in the new year! The U19/21 girls were at Sunday River for Eastern Cup SL races, where Ava Mattsson had a strong finish in 16th moving up from bib 24 and was the third place U19. Cassidy Bebo, starting from bib 54, made her first Eastern cup flip making 29th first run and finishing 27th overall. Rebecca Clark had a solid race too, nearly chopping her bib in half from 73 to almost make the flip in 35th, finishing 39th overall. Coach Greg Hardy reports that it was a "good showing for the ladies!" In the second SL Ava stayed consistent, again finishing 16th overall and this time was the fourth U19. Becca finished 40th overall, moving from bib 74 after losing a pole during first run!
