Winning moguls action at Sunday River

The Killington Mountain School Freestyle team headed up to Sunday River, Maine over the weekend for an Eastern Regional competition. The team had another fantastic showing, with many career bests and firsts.

In Saturday's single mogul event, Spencer Belsky and Taylor Getz both had their first ever victories. Belsky was followed closely by his teammate Adam Stiefel in second place. Adam was competing his back flip for the first time ever and achieved near perfect scores for it.

Sunday was dual moguls. The event was delayed two hours do to fog. Moments away from the event being cancelled, the fog lifted and the competitors were summoned from the lodge. Collin Campbell came away with his first ever regional victory. Collin led a KMS sweep of the top four places on the men's side, with Zack Simpson in second, Spenser Belsky in third and Stiefel in fourth. Taylor Getz matched Stiefel on the women's side with a fourth place finish as well.

Next up for the mogul team is our home event, the Killington Klassic on Saturday and Sunday. We hope everyone can come out and cheer for KMS!
