EK Robinson-Leith earns World Cup starts at three events
Killington Mountain School Snowboard athlete EK Robinson-Leith received some exciting news this week. She was notified by Snowboard Canada that she has met Canadian selection criteria and has been given a World Cup spot for the next three international events!
Coach Jeff Juneau explains,"Receiving your first World Cup start invitation is a huge accomplishment. It is unheard of for such a young athlete to earn this opportunity with an SBX program as strong and deep as Canada's. Achieving it as a first year FIS athlete is truly exceptional. We couldn't be more proud of EK's hard work and dedication."
EK has had a great season so far, and is preparing for a busy month. It starts this week with a NorAm at Mont Tremblant and will include three NorAm starts and a Junior World spot before March.
Congratulations, EK!
