Snowboard and Freeski athletes take podium spots in Stratton and Minnesota

Congratulations to KMS Snowboard athlete Liam Scott who won the “Youth Race To The Cup” at Buck Hill in Minnesota. Above is a podium shot of him with his medal and “bottle of chocolate”!

PG Snowboard athlete Matt Miller is in Minnesota competing as well, and Snowboard Program Director Jeff Juneau reports, "Over the last three days, Matt has placed between 18th and 22nd in the NorAms, and earned a 10th place in yesterday’s U20 Junior FIS Race." Way to go Matt and Liam!

Congratulations also to Kian Hauschildt and Montana Osinski, who competed at a USASA Rail Jam event at Stratton over the weekend. Coach Pete DuBois reports, "Montana skied really well, and Kian came in second in a strong field of athletes!" Nice work everyone!
